65 Killed in Gaza Despite Trump's 'Eternal' 20-Point Peace Plan

Hamas did not issue a clear, unconditional acceptance of President Trump’s peace deal by the 6 p.m. deadline today. Instead, Hamas reiterated its willingness to release all Israeli hostages and to negotiate key aspects of the plan — including handing over governing power — but maintained that certain terms, such as disarmament and the future of Gaza, still require wider Palestinian consensus and further talks.

The deadline for Hamas to accept Trump's 20-point plan to end the genocide in Gaza is approaching rapidly — they have just 4 hours remaining. Outlined in the plan are several stipulations that, in theory, will finally end the 730-day war.
“Gaza will be a deradicalised, terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbours.” (RapidResponse47 2025)
“If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed-upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal.” (RapidResponse47 2025)
“Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.” (RapidResponse47 2025)
Both Hamas and Israel have expressed willingness to accept the deal, with the former releasing a statement on 03 Oct 2025, “affirm[ing] its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss the details of this agreement,” and the latter stating they are "preparing to immediately implement the first phase of Trump’s plan.“
Despite the agreement clearly stating Israel must cease it’s airstrikes, last night and this morning they launched several, killing 65 and injuring 153, per Gaza’s Ministry of Health.
Israel has already been accused of over 1,000 ceasefire violations by the Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations.
